Our Investment Banking team focuses exclusively on middle-market transactions. Our clients include established middle-market companies and large corporations, both public and private. We are currently seeking an Associate for our Investment Banking team within the Capital Markets and Investment Banking divisionl Our Investment Banking practice has experienced significant growth and we are looking to expand our junior team to support the increased activity. The Associate plays an integral role on our deal teams and is awarded a meaningful level of responsibilities and commensurate opportunities for career advancement. Candidates must demonstrate maturity as a critical component of the role is providing guidance, supervision and training to junior analysts.

Responsibilities:

Support senior bankers in day-to-day deal execution and new business development
Lead/participate in calls and meetings with existing and prospective clients
In-depth analysis of client’s financial and operating performance and ability to articulate the results in a digestible manner to prospective buyers
Develop detailed financial models based on client/engagement requirements
Prepare marketing materials, including confidential information memorandums and management presentations to support sell-side mandates
Facilitate due diligence to satisfy buyer requests and advance deals to a successful close
Develop pitch presentations for new business opportunities
Research and compile market data relating to prior or future transactions
Draft thought pieces/white papers in key sectors of coverage, including aerospace & defense, paper and packaging and industrial technology
Training and development of junior analysts
Requirements:

Minimum of 4 – 5 years of Corporate Investment Banking experience or a combination of 3 years of Corporate Investment Banking experience and Master’s degree in relevant field (i.e. M.B.A, Master’s in Accounting, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree required; Cumulative GPA must be 3.5 or better
Must have middle market, sell-side transaction experience
Fluency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint
Strong professional communication and inter-personal skills, and the ability to succinctly express complex ideas both orally and in writing
Proficiency in managing multiple project-oriented tasks effectively and in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently while being team-oriented; prioritize tasks, react to changes and solve critical issues
Qualified candidates must possess a high level of motivation, initiative and leadership potential
Series 79 and 63 or obtain the licenses within the first 3 months of employment
