MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an Investment Banking Analyst/Associates to join a growing Investment Banking team in New York. As a Banking Analyst/Associate, you will develop expertise in the sector by conducting fundamental company and financial analysis, write and review offering documents and SEC filings, capital markets offering diligence, significant data projects and creating client presentations. In addition to honing your core financial skills and taking the Series 79,7 & 63, you will constructively apply expertise to individual client products and pipeline developments, interact with company managements, and work closely with our team. A strong work ethic, significant computer skills, attention to detail, excellent writing skills, ability to multi-task, work long hours, and strong presentation skills are essential for success.
Minimum of 1+ years industry and/or technology, healthcare or legal industry experience/training.
Prior Investment Banking experience a plus, not necessary if an applicant has experience in the industries above
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Previous experience with SEC filings, legal documents, contracts, due diligence and capital markets offering documents strongly preferred
Tenacious at adhering to deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to define priorities
Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of and background in either: VBA, securities law, data science, computer science, graphic design or digital marketing strongly preferred
Prepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants
Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
COMPENSATION: 150k Base plus Bonus
