Senior Associate, Sector Specialist – Tech, Media and Telecom

 The Opportunity:

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Sector Specialist – Tech, Media and Telecom to join our team in Raleigh.  This position will focus on Tech, Media and Telecom (TMT) and will report to the Associate Director of Product Management.

In this role, you will be responsible for serving as an in-house expert resource within the TMT sector, offering support, guidance, and knowledge to global Client Management. While Client Management is responsible for fulfilling client requests, this role is responsible for providing quality and content assistance on market leading research.  Specifically, you will be responsible for liaising with client management on industry drivers and events that affect our clients’ research in this sector; including mergers/acquisitions, IPOs, bleeding-edge technologies, supply and value chains, IP, product demand trends, legal/regulatory issues, changes in market performance - all to offer guidance on how client can curate proper expert matches to our clients.

 As a Specialist, you will serve as an on-demand resource for client discussions of complex projects that fall within your sector with the purpose of improving project scoping, consultative cross-selling, expectation setting, determining recruiting needs, and providing guidance on target populations.  As part of this, you will create solutions to difficult projects and offer guidance to analysts on how successfully fulfill requests.  You will also be expected to stay close to and offer support to the Hosted Events TMT team for the purposes of continuous education and cross-selling.

You must have the desire to master TMT content, client’s clients, and partner internally as the ‘go-to’ resource for terminology simplification and guidance for company success.  Working with our global client management teams to instill best practices when presenting Experts in the TMT, while driving Quality and Speed, in a consistent manner.
